On February 1, “Able” (Minato-ku , Tokyo) introduced the smartphone settlement service “PayPay” provided by PayPay (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) at domestically operated stores.
The app can be adopted by the users by scanning a QR code installed in each store which corresponds to the payment of the tenant’s fees and so on. When the chosen payment method is “credit card settlement”, it can be used for all of the expenses, while “PayPay balance payment” can only be used for brokerage fee and service provided by the company. This will be applied first to the Northen Tokyo area.
The company said the app will diversify payment options by introducing cashless settlement and improve customer convenience.
