The number of visitors at the housing exhibition hall in December has been announced on January 16 by the Housing Exhibition Center Association and the Housing Production Promotion Foundation. There was a 6.45% increase from the same month of the previous year leading to an increase for the fifth consecutive month.
A total of all seven areas excluding Tohoku were involved compared to the same month of the previous year. One relevant factor has been that “customers began to actually make a move because of the announcement of the consumption tax increase”.
The number of visitors to each area and the year-on-year comparison are as follows.
Hokkaido: 4077 units (12.27% increase compared to the same month the previous year), 3919 groups (0.00% same as the Tohoku region), Kato: 13 27,334 groups (3.27% increase), Shinetsu and Hokuriku: 3364 units (an increase of 6.46%), Tokai: 57,615 (up 14.80% same), Kinki: 32,225 (up 3.75%), 1666 (same 36.33% ), Kyushu · Okinawa: 5556 pairs (down by 9.43%).
